Description
The Honeywell Home 6290W turns the everyday VISTA experience into a clear, menu-driven interface. Its high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen uses recognizable icons and guided prompts for arming, disarming, bypassing zones, reviewing status, and managing authorized user codes.
Spoken announcements identify system condition, alarm type, and the affected zone, giving occupants useful information when time matters. The event log can show who used the system and when, while the zone-status screen provides a quick view across the property. The 1024 x 600 display can also present personal photos or videos when security controls are not active.
The slim backplate is designed to simplify upgrades from many existing 6160 and 6280 installations. Software can receive supported updates from Resideo or through the side SD card slot.
