Description
The 2GIG-LTEA-A-GC2 gives established GC2 and GC2e systems an AT&T LTE communication path for alarm reporting and Alarm.com interactive services. It carries panel data over the cellular network and supports VoLTE, allowing compatible two-way voice operation without depending on a traditional phone line.
Because the radio fits the panel’s dedicated module slot, the upgrade preserves the familiar keypad, enrolled sensors, user codes, and automation setup already built around the system. That makes it well suited to a home or small business whose security hardware is sound but whose communication technology needs to be brought forward.
The carrier and service platform must match the account being activated.
