The Ultra Tech IM-1280F1 is a 12-volt, 8Ah rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery for compatible security, emergency-power, communications, and UPS applications. The added capacity can support equipment designed for an 8Ah battery while retaining compact F1 quick-connect terminals.

AGM separators hold the electrolyte inside a sealed, maintenance-free assembly, reducing spill concerns in a correctly mounted cabinet. The battery also uses a shock-resistant ABS cover, low self-discharge construction, and a published five-year design life at 77 F for dependable scheduled replacement planning.

In a larger business security system, extra capacity is useful only when the charger and cabinet are designed for it. Allied checks voltage, amp-hour limits, terminal size, physical clearance, and calculated standby load before replacing or upsizing a battery, then performs a documented power-loss test.
