Description
The Altronix AL624 converts a 16-24V AC transformer input into selectable 6, 12, or 24V DC power for compatible security, access-control, and CCTV accessories. It supplies up to 1.2A at 6V or 12V DC and up to 0.75A at 24V DC from a compact linear board.
Filtered, regulated output and short-circuit and thermal-overload protection help protect the connected load. When a correctly sized sealed lead-acid or gel battery is added, the onboard charger provides instantaneous battery failover after AC loss; status LEDs show both incoming power and DC output.
Allied selects the transformer, enclosure, wire gauge, fuse protection, battery, and load as one circuit. That engineering matters when the board supports security equipment expected to remain available during an outage.
