Description
The DSC PGPHOST9 is the wireless host that connects PowerG and PowerG+ devices to compatible IQ Pro, PowerSeries Neo, and PowerSeries Pro alarm controls. It supports up to 128 wireless zones and 32 wireless keys, with the final capacity determined by the connected panel.
On IQ Pro, the module can support PowerG Automation devices, IQ Hardwire PowerG, and IQ Remote-PG. On Neo and Pro systems it operates in legacy PowerG fallback mode, allowing Allied to match the radio behavior to the control rather than promise features the panel cannot use.
A four-wire Corbus connection can run up to 1,000 feet from the main panel, which gives the installer room to place the radio where coverage is stronger. When Allied expands an existing security system, that flexibility can preserve compatible equipment while improving wireless reach and supervision. AES-128 encryption, adaptive transmission power, and support for PG9920 or PGP9920 repeaters help keep larger residential and commercial layouts dependable.
