DSC PG9HRDW8 PowerG 40-Zone Hardwire Expansion Module

The DSC PG9HRDW8 is the larger hardwire-to-PowerG platform for properties with more existing wired protection. It starts with eight onboard zones and accepts up to four HSM2108 modules, increasing capacity to 40 hardwired zones while reporting those circuits wirelessly to a compatible Qolsys IQ control panel.

Four programmable outputs, support for up to eighteen compatible two-wire smoke detectors, four-wire smoke and CO support, siren output, and connections for up to two supported keypads give the cabinet room for a substantial takeover. The included 18V DC adapter supplies primary power, and an optional 12V 7Ah battery can support up to 24 hours of standby operation under the specified loading.

For a large home, office, warehouse, or mixed-use property, retaining tested field wiring can reduce disruption while keeping useful perimeter and life-safety zones in service. Allied documents each circuit, verifies panel firmware and feature support, and commissions the existing system takeover zone by zone so the new control has an accurate map of the building.
