DSC PG9920 PowerG Wireless Repeater – 915 MHz

The DSC PG9920 is the original 915 MHz PowerG repeater for compatible systems that need better communication beyond the panel’s practical indoor range. It receives transmissions from enrolled PowerG devices and relays them to the control, helping cover long corridors, larger homes, remote offices, and construction that weakens radio signals.

Unlike the newer PGP9920, this model is a standard PowerG repeater rather than a PowerG+ device. It continuously evaluates link quality and adjusts transmission power for reliable communication, while the onboard LED lets the installer test candidate locations before the enclosure is permanently mounted.

The included 4.8V NiMH pack provides up to 48 hours of backup after AC loss. AC-failure, low-battery, end-of-life, tamper, and supervision messages give the panel useful service information, and front/case protection helps identify removal. For an Allied home security system with a difficult floor plan, the PG9920 can extend compatible sensors without changing the devices people already use.
