Description
The Qolsys IQ Smoke combines photoelectric smoke detection with heat and low-temperature awareness in one wireless alarm. When smoke or a qualifying heat condition is detected, the unit sounds its local 85 dB temporal alarm and reports the event to a compatible control panel.
Because the detector remains active whether the burglary system is armed or disarmed, it can become part of a continuously supervised home security system. The panel can identify the detector and, when the account is configured for professional monitoring, pass the supported fire signal into the response plan.
Three AAA batteries power the alarm, while LEDs and distinct chirp patterns report normal status, low battery, trouble, contamination, and tamper.
