Description
The large-enclosure Qolsys IQ Hardwire 16-F provides the same wired-zone translation platform as the compact version with substantially more room for field wiring, a backup battery, and orderly service access. It handles fifteen normally open or normally closed security zones plus one dedicated two-wire smoke loop for up to ten approved detectors.
An additional module position inside the enclosure supports expansion when one translator is not enough for the property. That makes this version well suited to larger homes, offices, and Allied commercial security systems where retaining sound existing wire can reduce disruption without forcing the new control to inherit undocumented circuits.
Per-zone LEDs, end-of-line supervision, a siren relay, 500mA of 12V auxiliary power, and supervised battery charging aid commissioning and service.
