Description
The brown Qolsys IQ Mini DW-S brings discreet opening protection to stained doors, dark window frames, display cases, and other surfaces where a white sensor would stand out. A compact enclosure and strong rare-earth magnet help the two pieces align cleanly around real-world trim profiles.
When the opening moves beyond the programmed magnet gap, the sensor reports the change to a compatible 319.5 MHz Qolsys system. S-Line encryption helps protect the wireless signal, and the panel can use the event for security alerts, custom chimes, or supported smart-home actions.
Two CR2032 batteries power the contact, and the current quick guide calls for replacement at five years. The 600-foot figure is an open-air rating rather than a guarantee inside a building; Allied confirms placement and signal strength after the sensor is mounted on the finished surface.
