Description
The 2GIG FTD100-345 is designed to catch water in two common failure patterns: drips falling from above and pooling that reaches the floor contacts below. That dual-source design makes it useful beneath water heaters, sinks, HVAC equipment, washing machines, and other locations where a leak may start before a large puddle forms.
The same device reports high ambient temperature above 95 degrees F and low temperature below 41 degrees F. Allied can fold those signals into a custom home security system, giving a property owner one place to receive security and environmental alerts when the panel and service plan support them.
No screws or tools are required for normal placement, and the CR123A battery is projected to last up to five years. Switchable encryption supports compatible new and earlier 2GIG installations, while the final location should remain within panel range and where water can physically reach the sensing surfaces.
