Description
The 2GIG KEY100-345 puts the system’s most-used commands on a remote small enough for a key ring, pocket, or purse. Separate buttons handle arm-away, arm-stay, disarm, and a programmable panic or relay command, so a user can operate the panel without walking back to a keypad.
Within a professionally configured home security system, the remote is especially convenient for arriving home, leaving with full hands, or giving a trusted user straightforward control without sharing the main keypad. Its onboard mode can be set for encrypted or non-encrypted 345 MHz operation, helping it fit both newer and compatible earlier 2GIG installations.
The remote communicates up to 350 feet in open air and uses more than one million possible device IDs. Actual range is affected by walls, metal, and local RF conditions, and the panic or relay button must be programmed for the intended action during installation.
