Description
The Qolsys IQ5 Hub is the cost-conscious touchscreen option in the IQ5 family. It keeps a bright 7-inch interface for arming, access management, compatible live video, and smart-device control, while omitting the flagship model’s built-in camera and panel motion sensors. That makes it a practical fit when those functions are already covered elsewhere.
Its security capacity is not scaled down. Built-in 915 MHz PowerG+ can support up to 128 encrypted devices, PowerG automation can handle up to 100 compatible devices, and Z-Wave 800 Series Long Range can connect as many as 167 devices. Four partitions and 242 user codes provide useful separation for families, offices, shops, and mixed-use properties.
This IQ5 Hub communicates over AT&T or Verizon LTE Cat 4 and dual-band Wi-Fi. It also includes Bluetooth 5.0 LE, an 85 dB piezo siren, a front-facing 2-watt speaker, and a 24-hour backup battery.
