Description
The Ecolink WST-220 hides the transmitter inside the door or frame so the sensor is effectively invisible when the opening is closed. A strong rare-earth magnet supports a generous one-inch maximum gap, giving the installer more alignment tolerance than many compact surface contacts.
The cylindrical transmitter fits a 3/4-inch-wide by 2.5-inch-deep hole, while the magnet uses a matching 3/4-inch opening about 1/2 inch deep. A replaceable CR2 battery is rated for five years and the sensor checks in approximately every 60 minutes. Opening the transmitter cap also sends a tamper signal to the panel.
Allied evaluates the door material and frame depth before drilling, aligns the magnet through the complete door travel, and verifies the DSC 433 MHz signal after installation.
