Honeywell Home 5800CMBOV Wireless Smoke, Heat and CO Detector

The Honeywell Home 5800CMBOV brings smoke, fixed-temperature heat, and carbon monoxide detection into one wireless device for compatible 5800-series systems. A photoelectric chamber looks for airborne smoke particles, an electrochemical sensor monitors CO, and thermal sensing reports a 135 F heat alarm. Separate smoke/heat, CO, and low-temperature zones let the control panel identify which condition needs attention.

Local temporal alarm patterns, red and blue side LEDs, a tri-color status LED, and English or Spanish voice announcements make each alert easier to distinguish at the detector. The unit also reports low battery, tamper, smoke-chamber maintenance, CO trouble, and CO end-of-life conditions; the CO sensor has an approximate ten-year service life. Four included CR123A batteries power the detector, and supervised check-ins occur every 60 to 70 minutes.

When this detector is part of Allied’s professionally installed monitored smoke detection, the technician verifies panel compatibility, programs each required zone, checks the 345 MHz signal, and function-tests both smoke and CO reporting.
