DSC LC-203 Hardwired Dual-Tech Anti-Mask Motion Detector

The DSC LC-203 combines a fully digital PIR with a microwave channel so an installer can require confirmation from both technologies before an alarm. That dual approach helps reject conditions that affect only one sensing method, while the 49-foot, 100-degree pattern covers living areas, offices, workshops, and industrial interiors.

Active anti-masking is the defining difference in this model: it can identify an attempt to cover or obstruct the detector and supports EN Grade 3 applications. Pet immunity up to 33 pounds, case and wall tamper switches, a selectable pulse counter, built-in end-of-line resistors, digital white-light filtering, and temperature compensation round out the design. Power input is 9 to 15V DC.

The LC-203 can serve either a residence with a challenging room or a business where nuisance alarms and deliberate obstruction deserve extra attention.
