Description
The DSC PG9994 is built for broad outdoor motion coverage rather than a narrow doorway curtain. Eight independent PIR elements work through Octa-QUAD mirror optics to evaluate movement across a 40-foot, 90-degree pattern and help distinguish a person from swaying vegetation and smaller animals.
Target Specific Imaging supports pet immunity up to 40 pounds, and the V-Slot housing adds resistance to tampering and physical interference. Two CR123A batteries provide about three years of typical service, while two-way encrypted PowerG signaling reports alarm, tamper, low-battery, and supervisory status back to a compatible panel.
Allied can use the PG9994 in either a home security system or a larger business installation when a tested 40-foot outdoor zone matches the property.
