DSC PG9985 PowerG Wireless Flood Detector with Probe

The DSC PG9985 separates the wireless transmitter from its water-sensing probe, allowing the six-foot lead to reach the floor while the main detector remains mounted where it is visible and easier to service. When water bridges the probe contacts, the device reports a flood condition through a compatible PowerG panel.

Probe-disconnect supervision can identify a cut or unplugged sensor lead instead of quietly leaving the protected area without coverage. A CR123A battery is rated for up to eight years of typical use, and two-way encrypted signaling returns tamper, low-battery, and periodic supervision status to the system.

The format works well behind appliances, beneath sinks, near water heaters, and around HVAC equipment where the first water may appear below or behind the accessible wall surface.
