DSC PG9924 PowerG Curtain PIR Motion Detector

The DSC PG9924 creates a narrow curtain of PIR coverage instead of filling an entire room. That focused pattern is useful across sliding doors, groups of windows, glass walls, and other perimeter sections where movement through one specific plane matters more than general activity inside the space.

Coverage can be selected at 6, 12, or 18 feet from the panel, allowing the detector to fit the opening without unnecessarily watching deeper into the room. PowerG two-way communication, AES-128 encryption, visible signal-quality indication, front tamper, optional back tamper, and a seven-year CR123A battery support a clean wireless installation.

Within a professionally planned home security system, a curtain detector can protect a bank of windows while allowing normal movement elsewhere when the system design calls for it.
