Description
The white DSC PG9945 combines a PowerG magnetic contact with an auxiliary input for a compatible wired detector. It can protect the door or window beside the transmitter and bring a concealed contact, floor switch, or other approved dry-contact device into the system without running the zone cable all the way back to the control panel.
The auxiliary input can operate as normally open, normally closed, or single end-of-line, and it may be enrolled as a separate zone when the panel supports that arrangement. A visible link-quality LED helps select the mounting location, while case and wall tamper switches report attempts to open or remove the sensor.
One CR123A battery provides up to eight years of typical use. In an Allied home security system, the PG9945 is especially useful on unusual doors, gates within the rated indoor environment, or retrofit openings where the existing contact is better than a surface-mounted replacement.
