The black DSC PGP9945EBK keeps a high-function contact from standing out on black aluminum doors, dark storefront mullions, equipment cabinets, and modern interior frames. Its built-in reed switch handles the primary opening, while the auxiliary terminals can bring a compatible hardwired contact into the wireless system.

Supported input modes include normally open, normally closed, EOL, DEOL, and TEOL, giving the installer options for simple contacts and more closely supervised loops. The full-length magnet improves placement tolerance, and the 3.5-inch housing leaves room for the CR123A battery and input wiring without hiding connections in an improvised enclosure.

PowerG+ panels can expose detailed battery reporting, OTA updates, dealer lockdown, and two-factor enrollment; standard PowerG panels use fallback mode.
