Description
The white DSC PGP9945E combines a supervised magnetic door/window contact with a flexible auxiliary input. It can monitor its built-in reed switch while also accepting a compatible hardwired contact, allowing one wireless location to solve openings where the preferred switch must be concealed, remotely positioned, or matched to an existing wired device.
The input can be configured as normally open, normally closed, EOL, double EOL, or triple EOL on supporting panels, with up to 10 meters of 22 AWG cable. A full-length magnet improves alignment tolerance, and front/back tamper protection helps identify attempts to open or remove the transmitter.
On PowerG+ systems, the sensor supports battery-level reporting, remote firmware updates, dealer lockdown, and enhanced enrollment. It falls back to standard PowerG behavior on compatible legacy panels. That flexibility makes it a strong fit when Allied is modernizing a commercial security system without discarding a useful specialty contact at the opening.
